Key takeaways

Every batch has its own page, at op-tide.com/verify/ followed by the batch number. It shows the full test panel for that batch.

Single peptides show a purity percentage. Blends show PASS, because each peptide in them is measured on its own.

Some tests are run once on the master lot a batch was filled from. The page says when.

Each result links to the lab’s own record, so nothing has to be taken on trust.

1. Where to find it

Each vial carries a batch number. Add it to op-tide.com/verify/ and you reach that batch’s page. For batch RT102607, that is op-tide.com/verify/rt102607.

You can also search by compound or batch number on our Standards page, where each test is listed with its date and result.

2. The top: status and batch details

The first line gives the batch’s status. Verified means the batch passed its full test panel and was released.

Below it are the basics: the product and its labeled strength, the batch number, the verification date and the lab. Every OPtide result comes from Janoshik Analytical, an independent third-party lab.

3. Identity

“Identity confirmed” means the lab weighed the molecule by mass spectrometry and the result matched the expected mass. Our COA article explains how that works.

Identity matters most where names are loose. TB-500 is a good example: the name is used for both a short fragment and full-length thymosin beta-4. In OPtide batches, the identity test confirms the full-length molecule, as our Wolverine article explains.

Figure 2: a single peptide batch shows purity 99.792 percent and 11.82 mg, while a blend shows PASS and 11.42 mg split into 5.54 mg BPC-157 and 5.88 mg TB-500

4. Purity and content

For a single peptide, the page shows two numbers:

  • Purity (HPLC): the main peak’s share of everything the detector saw. RT102607 shows 99.792%.
  • Content: how much compound is in the vial, in milligrams. RT102607 shows 11.82 mg against a 10 mg label.

For a blend, the purity line reads PASS. A blend has no single purity figure, because it holds more than one peptide. Each one is measured on its own, and the content line gives the total. Wolverine batch BB102608 shows 11.42 mg: 5.54 mg of BPC-157 and 5.88 mg of TB-500.

A blend has no single purity figure. Each peptide in it is measured on its own.

5. Contamination tests

Three lines cover what should not be in the vial:

  • Endotoxin: fragments of bacterial membranes, in endotoxin units per vial (EU/vial). RT102607 shows less than 1 EU/vial. Our Endotoxins article explains why there is no single fixed limit.
  • Microbial: checks for bacteria (TAMC, total aerobic microbial count) and for yeasts and molds (TYMC, total yeast and mold count).
  • Heavy metals: arsenic, cadmium, mercury and lead (As, Cd, Hg, Pb). “Not detected” means none was found.

6. The master lot note

Some vials are filled from a larger production run, called a master lot. Results that do not change between fills, such as heavy metals and microbial screening, can be tested once on that master lot.

When that applies, the page says so and gives the master lot number. Purity, content and endotoxins are still reported for the batch itself.

7. The dates

The verification date is when the batch cleared testing. The expiry date is the date the batch should be used by.

Both are worth noting in your log. Our Organized article covers a simple monthly check that uses them.

8. Documents and lab links

The full verification report is a download with all the lab documentation and raw data for the batch, including the charts behind each result.

Below it, each result links to its record on Janoshik’s own site. Open one and compare: compound, batch and result should match the page. If the lab’s record and any OPtide page ever disagree, trust the lab’s record, and tell us.

How OPtide publishes batch reports

  • Every batch, before release: no batch ships without its page.
  • One lab: every result comes from Janoshik Analytical, independent of both maker and seller.
  • As measured: results are shown as the lab reported them, without rounding.
  • A person to ask: questions about a batch report go to a real person on WhatsApp or by email.

A note on research use
